About Us

Swanky Tee’s is a product of my family of tight knit jokesters. Our house is the most sarcastic and humorous household I have ever seen. It is not for everyone, but for us, it is perfect and just how we like it. Swanky Tee’s was created as a result of our sarcasm and pranks.

It started when my husband asked me if I wanted a beer on a Thursday… I asked him what the occasion was and he replied it was  “Thursty Thursday”. We had a good laugh. A few weeks later he again asked if I wanted a beer, and I asked what the occasion was this time? This time he said it was “Two-fer Tuesday”. Again we laughed, and before long (and plenty of beers later), we had a saying for every day of the week.

I started doing graphic design prior to 1999 and making custom apparel since 2013. So as my husband and I refined our “7Day Drinking Guide” t-shirts, it wasn’t a stretch to do a mock up of the t-shirts. Our “unveiling” of the 7Day Drinking Guide t-shirts was for my brothers birthday. We got several orders that night, and more in the next few weeks. Swanky Tee’s was born.

We decided to bring the same sarcasm and (sometimes raunchy) humor to Swanky Tee’s. People express themselves in a lot of different ways: tattoos, shoes, hair color, and of course t-shirts. We want our visitors to be able to express themselves through our t-shirts and sweatshirts. If laughter is the best medicine, then our t-shirts might just cure us all!

We like to think of our website as a source of “Retail Therapy”. Express yourself with our t-shirts or sweatshirts and continue the healing process.

If you can’t find that perfect t-shirt, consider submitting and idea through our Design-A-Tee competition. If we select your idea we will print a t-shirt and sweatshirt with your design for free. See rules and guidelines.

As a final note, our team has a lot of fun making t-shirts and new designs. We love what we do and laugh all the time. We hope you find something that makes you smile too. Remember, Retail Therapy is real… it’s just a matter if you believe in it.
